Sam
Unique hotel, it has sweeping views and magnificent location in a quiet district. Superior room is brand-new, has a large bathroom. Great to have a sea facing balcony and a mini bar.

Brand-new rooms with amazing bosphorus view, flexible and decent staff. Rich and very good breakfast with a panoramic view to the Bosphorus for all tastes.
Breakfast standard.

We really enjoyed the hotel, rich breakfast.
The staff was very attentive and well-mannered and everything was very good. The standard room was silent, very comfy bed. The lobby restaurant onsite had delicious dishes. It was surely a really really nice stay of four nights.

Carol
Amicable staff especially senior managers and nothing was trouble for them. We ate at a NICE restaurant especially at the bar and restaurant.

Our room was silent and spotless, included with 2 double beds and lovely bath, as for instance.

Everything was perfect from the very beginning.
The morning breakfast was varied with a beautiful view overlooking the Bosphoros, the already finished items and also sweets.
-
Helen
The breakfast had variety of options and included coffee and tea. We were offered superior triple room complete with Bosporus view and a balcony, as example. The location in a quiet residential neighbourhood area was good for us.

The Cihangir Hotel in Istanbul is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The rooms, with their simple design, provide a comfortable stay, and those with a "Park View" offer a perfect view of the Bosphorus. The friendly staff goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant experience, and the breakfast, with its little Turkish specialities, is a delightful start to the day.
All was satisfactory with this hotel.

The room did come with a very impressive view and a balcony for 102 Euros a night. If one's business or appointments were all located in the area of Taksim Square, it would be a convenient and thrifty option.
The room was a bit bug-ridden, the ac didn't work, and the beds were only equipped with flat mattresses and a heavy duvet (especially uncomfortable due to the ac problem). The hotel is located far from the majority of the city's tourist attractions (expensive cab ride), and is on a small cul-de-sac which is difficult to find. Breakfast was rudimentary, at best. The hotel bar on the top floor was priced absurdly and played loud music that was audible in all of the 5th floor rooms until late at night.

The hotel was a very good value for money. It is located only 300-400 meters from the central square. It is clean (our rooms didn't have a Bosphorus view). It is quiet, the breakfast is fine. I would stay there again
Some of the staff didn't speak english (this is a problem everywhere in Turkey, though).

Location of hotel very good for visiting city of istanbul. Friendly staff. Room very comfortable although we had asked for a bed without a board at the end of it as my husband very tall. We were offered a change of room the following day but my husband had put away his clothes and did not want to move again. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. The breakfast was very good. Only complaint would be that we would have liked more variety in fruit offered.

The location.
Outdated interiors. Sloppy services: the cleaning lady simply took the bed cover and threw it over the wardrobe. Also the breakfast was not that great.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the center of the city and close to shopping areas. It is also very convenient to reach tram and bus stations. The rooms are well-maintained and the bathrooms have good water pressure. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast provided is satisfactory.
The towels provided in the rooms need to be replaced as they are of poor quality.
